Q: Been riding since Feb and I LOVE Cruising Interstates and traveling to all the attractions located around Central Florida. But the GPS I use in the Car a Garmin C330 isn't waterproof, and has a short battery life.

A: +1 to the Zumo, but you may not have 500 bucks to spend on a GPS. Garmin makes a number of handheld models that are street route capable, but they may not be as easy to use. It really depends on the balance of user friendliness/cost you're comfortable

Miniwiz Hymini Wind ChargerThe $49 Hymini from Miniwiz uses a tiny turbine to charge "most 5V handheld devices." It's likely to arouse the curiosity of clients and coworkers if you use it around them.
The Hymini fits in the palm of your hand or on a windowsill, but its comma shape is impractical. When we laid the device flat, its tiny turbine struggled to pick up enough wind to spin, and there's no stand to prop the unit up with. When we used a strip of Velcro tape to attach the lightweight Hymini to an outdoor wall, however, its fan spun easily.

I am looking for a waterproof GPS unit for kayaking. I do mostly lazy river and lake kayaking. It would also be used for biking, hiking and some driving. Color would be nice as would mapping. I'd choose color over mapping but that's just me. I don't
