Q: can anyone explain to me what does a gps system is ? thanks
A: it is a navagator, I have the Garmin
what it does it tell you where to go and how to get there
I liked the Garmin becuase it is so easy to use that my wife could use it with out any problems

What are the social issues surrounding the GPS system?
Back when people used road maps, there was little chance that a person could find your home by hopping into your used car. Bluetooth connections and built in GPS systems have changed that, so now if you were to trade in your old car with a built in GPS system for a newer model, you may be endangering yourself.
GPS systems do save the information you program into them, after all. While you may not think about it, the routes you take to work, the houses of friends and family, and even your own home are programmed into your GPS.
What could be worse than this? Having an even fancier model which allows you to program a garage door opener, and then forgetting to reset it when you trade it in. Imagine, it’d be like giving a perfect stranger keys to your house and a map to get there along with your car.

i am looking into buying a gps system and i want to know, if i pay 200 for one. do i have to ever pay again. is there a monthly service and anything else...thanks
Can someone give me links to where i can find a Gps Mp3 Bluetooth System that when ever i turn it off, the screen goes inside the stereo and when its turned on, the screen will scroll out??? if you know what i mean.
