Q: I purchased an RCA dvd/dvr and connected it to my directv satellite box. I can watch/record one channel but the dvr does not recognize any of my other satellite channels. When I program the dvr it only locates the channel I'm watching, the rest are "blue

The problem is your direct TV box is only feeding the current channel to your recorder.
