I have a Crunch 1500 watt amplifier hooked up to a BMW 1.5 farad cap. I also have 2 P3's wired down to 1 ohm. Sometimes when I turn on my car the lights to the amplifier come on and evertything seems as if its working but it takes a while for the speakers
NEW BRUNSWICK — Reinaldo Fuentes, a 21-year-old illegal immigrant, faces 23 years in prison after admitting he beat and fatally stabbed his New Brunswick roommate who, he said, tried to rape him.
Fuentes pleaded guilty today in Superior Court in New Brunswick to a charge of aggravated manslaughter for the July 1, 2009 death of Adrian Betanzos, 26, in their French Street apartment in New Brunswick.
Assisted by a Spanish-speaking interpreter, Fuentes told Judge Michael Toto that he was sleeping in the apartment when he awoke to find Betanzos over him with his hand around Fuentes’ neck.
"He was going to rape me," Fuentes said. He said Betanzos had his pants off, was not wearing underpants and had knife in one hand.
Fuentes admitted repeatedly striking Betanzos with an amplifier, and then taking the knife and stabbing Betanzos twice, including once in the back.
Under questioning from his lawyer, David Oakley, Fuentes admitted that he could have escaped from the room after beating Betanzos with the amplifier, and that he never tired to get help for the wounded roommate.
I'm planning to boast up my Home Theaters speaker, so I'd decided to buy a Sony amplifier. If I connect the speakers of my Home Theater to the amplifier, will that damage the speaker? Do I need to buy speakers for the amplifier?
